Management on your Mind? Read these Guideline by Maharashtra Government First

The Maharashtra Government has issued general guidelines to keep in mind for students who are interested in taking admission in Post Graduate Degree Courses in Management such as Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Management Studies (MMS) and Post Graduate Diploma Course in Business Management (PGDBM) or Post Graduate Diploma Course in Management (PGDM), in various institutions across Maharashtra.

Governing the aspects of the Centralized Admission Process (CAP), these guidelines further include rules and information regarding Distribution of seats under various headings such as CAP seats, Institute level seats, Minority seats etc. details of the Reservation of seats; Fees concession offered to eligible candidates; details of the Centralized Admission Process; details of the Admission rounds, etc.

Aspiring students will get detailed information regarding the rules of admissions, which are to be carried out by the unaided institutes for Institute level seats and in case seats remain vacant after the CAP rounds.

Candidates seeking admission in Post Graduate management courses in the institutes in Maharashtra should make note that the scores of CMAT (1/2/3) will be used mainly for the admission in 2013-14 session. And, the candidates who have secured negative or zero marks in CMAT or in GMAT/CAT/JMET/MAT/ATMA/ XAT/Association CET or any other equivalent to CET are not be eligible for admission to MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDM courses in Maharashtra.

Other candidates, who are appearing for MAT (conducted by AIMA), here is an important note, only the score of the MAT 2013 exam shall be considered valid for admissions to MBA/MMS courses at Institute Level Seats, and only that will be used while preparing the merit list.
