The Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) has released the examination dates for Post Graduation Entrance Test (PGET) 2022. Formally known as West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT), the university will conduct the PGET 2022 written test on July 17, 2022.
Eligibility criteria for MAKAUT PGET 2022
Candidates who want to apply for PGET 2022 written test should have a bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering or Pharmacy recognized by the All India Counseling for Technical Education (AICTE). Candidates who have master’s degree in the relevant branch of science are also eligible to apply. Even candidates who have appeared for the final year/semester exam are also eligible to apply.
How to apply for MAKAUT PGET 2022
All that the prospect aspirants need to do is to visit the official website of MAKAUT, click on the relevant link, fill in the required details in the prescribed format and finally click on the ‘Submit’ button. Candidates are advised to take the printout of the receipt for future dereference.
Application fee for MAKAUT PGET 2022
Candidates belonging to the general category need to pay an application fee of INR 600, whereas candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories, INR 300.
MAKAUT PGET 2022 Important Dates
- Candidates can submit the application forms online latest by July 10, 2022.
- Admit card will be up for download on the official website of the university from July 15, 2022 onwards.
- Written test will be conducted on July 17, 2022.
