About the College: Kashi Vidyapith founded in 1921 is the inspirational outcome of hard work of both Babu Shiv Prasad Gupta and ‘Bharat Ratna’ Dr. Bhagwan Das. Mahatma Gandhi had inaugurated it during the Non-Cooperation movement of Indian national struggle. Commitment to democracy, equality of all religions, staunch support to nationalism and to Indian socialism & enrichment of Hindi as a national language are the main objectives of this college as it was influenced heavily by national movements.
