About Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Test (MAH-MCA-CET) 2012
Maharashtra Master’s in Computer Application Common Entrance Test (MAH-MCA-CET) 2012 is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra for students seeking admission to first year of three year full time regular post graduate degree course in Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in government or aided colleges or universities and unaided private institutes of Maharashtra.
Eligibility for MAH-MCA-CET 2012
- You should have passed bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA ( 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Physically Handicapped belonging to Maharashtra State only) from a recognised University.
- You should have Mathematics or Statistics as main subjects at 10+2 level or higher level examination.
- You are eligible to apply for MAH-MCA-CET 2012, if you are appearing in final year examination of any Bachelor’s degree.
- If you have passed Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS), Bachelor of Science (Computer/Information Technology) degree courses, you are not required to have Mathematics or Statistics as main subjects at 10+2 level or higher level examination.
Application Procedure for MAH-MCA-CET 2012
- You can apply for MAH-MCA-CET 2012 by obtaining application form from selected Axis Bank Branches by paying application fee in cash through Pay-in –Slip.
- You can also do online payment of the fees by Internet Payment, Credit Card or Debit Card payment gateway.
- Application fee for MAH-MCA-CET 2012 for candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J & K Migrant and NRI/Foreign National/Foreign Students/ PIO/Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf Countries is Rs. 750/-.
- Application fee for MAH-MCA-CET 2012 for candidates of Backward Class Categories (SC, ST, VJDT NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC) belonging to Maharashtra State only is Rs. 550/-.
- You can also apply for MAH-MCA-CET 2012 on official website of Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra (www.dte.org.in/mca).
- For submission of your MAH-MCA-CET 2012 online application form, you are required to use Application ID and Password provided in the MAH-MCA-CET 2012 Application Kit.
- You are also required to upload your photograph with signature.
- To take the printout of your online filled MAH-MCA-CET 2012 application form, you are required to confirm online submission of application form.
