Logisticia’13: Seminar at VELS University

VELS University cordially invites all to an intensive seminar entitled as Logisticia’13 from October 30-31, 2013.

Attraction of the event is panel discussion on “Capitalisation of new market in logistics and supply chain”.

Seminar has started with inaugural ceremony on October 30 with lighting of kuthuvilakku. Dr. George Thomas, Additional Director, School of Management Studies, VELS University, delivered the welcome speech.

Dr. R. Mathialagan, Registrar, VELS University gave the Presidential speech while Mr. R. Vijayan, Vice President-Operations (West), Uniworld Logistics Pvt., Ltd, Mumbai, delivered his inaugural speech.

Mr. M. Sayeeraman, Executive Director, Continental Warehousing Corporation (Nava Seva) Ltd., Chennai, Capt. Avnash Iyer, General Manager, All Cargo Logistics, Chennai, Mr. K. Kumaran, Managing Director, Vangard Logistics, Chennai, Ms. Joshela Jenifer.G, Head-Operations, KMM Freight Systems, Chennai were the member of panel discussion of Day 1.

Mr. M. Sundaram, Executive Director, Super Auto Forge Ltd., Chennai, Mr. M.S. Venkataraman, Head SCM Pegasus Forwarding and Uthra Logistics, Chennai, Mr. N. Ramasaamy, Principal, Namakkal Transport Corporation College & IDTR, Varadharajan TV, Head SCM (TN Circle) Aircel cellular ltd, India, Mr. Anup Mohnani, Senior Manager, Renault India pvt ltd are the member of Day 2 panel discussion on the given topic.

Dr. George Thomas, Additional Director, School of Management Studies will be delivering his welcome note sharp by 4 pm today. There will be a feedback session from the participants also. Prizes and certificates will be distributed to the participants.
Event will come to an end with vote of thanks and recitation of national anthem at the end.
