Last date to apply for PG courses at Karnatak University is July 15, 2013

Karnatak University has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission to various Post-Graduate Degree Courses, Semester with Choice Based Credit System (CBCS)/Non Semester/PG Diploma/ Advanced Diploma/ Diploma and Certificate courses for the academic year 2013-14. Interested candidates are requested to submit the application form on or before July 15, 2013.

Admission to MBA and MCA courses will be through the PGCET conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority Bangalore.

Eligibility for Admission to the Post-Graduate Degree Courses

• Eligibility criteria for seeking admission to all the PG courses, in general, shall be a pass in the qualifying degree examination with a minimum of 45% in aggregate (40% for SC/ ST/Cat-I candidates).

• Entrance test will be conducted for all courses. Admission shall be made on the basis of the merit list prepared by taking into consideration 50% of the aggregate marks obtained in the relevant subject(s) at qualifying degree examination (all three years), and 50% of marks obtained in the Entrance test. Entrance test will consist of 50 multiple choice questions (MCQ). Duration of the Test will be 75 minutes.

Candidates may download the Application Form and the bank challan (bank challan should be downloaded and printed in legal size paper) from the website www.kud.ac.in or www.kudacademic.org  or by contacting pgadmissions2013@kud.ac.in and the duly filled-in application form, along with all enclosures (including the original copies of the challan for Application Processing fee and Entrance Test fees) shall be submitted to the Chairman of the concerned department at K.U. Dharwad.
