Hurry! Last Date to Submit PhD Application Form 2017 at IIST Thiruvananthapuram is December 8

The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram has started inviting applications from candidates seeking admission in its Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes for the academic session 2022.

IIST offers PhD course in various disciplines:

• Aerospace Engineering
• Avionics
• Earth and Space Sciences
• Chemistry
• Humanities
• Mathematics
• Physics

IIST offers research fellowship for GATE and UGC/CSIR NET-JRF/JEST qualified students which is valued at Rs 25, 000 per month.

Candidates seeking admission in PhD are recommended to submit their PhD admission forms 2022 before the last date of submission of IIST Thiruvananthapuram application form 2022 i.e. December 8. Also, December 14 is the last date to submit the IIST application fees.

IIST Thiruvananthapuram Eligibility Criteria for PhD Admission 2022

Aspirants need to have Master's degree in engineering/technology or science or humanities along with UGC/CSIR NET/JEST (or) GATE qualification to be eligible to apply for PhD at IIST.

In addition to this, under graduate engineering/technology candidates with outstanding scores can apply for direct admission if they have CGPA score of 9.0/10 or better and a valid GATE score of 675 or better.

IIST Thiruvananthapuram Selection Procedure for PhD Admission 2022

Applicants will be selected on the basis of their GATE/NET scores and the shortlisted ones will later be called for IIST written test and interview rounds. Only the qualified candidates will be allowed to secure seats in the relevant PhD programme.

IIST will release the list of shortlisted candidates on December 21, 2022 tentatively and the interview will be conducted from January 4-6, 2022.
