Last date of registration to short term training programe at MNNIT is June 16, 2013

One Week Self-Financed Short-Term Training Programme on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) will be organized by Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology on July 2 and will continue till July 6, 2013.

With the advent of high performance computing, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) has become a versatile tool to simulate physical phenomena ranging from the movement of microorganisms to the global weather prediction. The leading manufactures, like automotive, aerospace, naval, bio-medical and other sectors frequently use this technique for simulation of processes and products involving fluid flow, heat and mass transfer. It is a growing field of fundamental and applied research.

In view of the above, a short-term training programme on CFD has scheduled during July 2-6, 2013, which offers basic to advanced theories of CFD with hands on laboratory sessions of CFD modeling.

This course is for faculty members/engineering professionals from any government/private engineering/technical institutions/industries with relevant background and CFD as an area of interest. Post-graduate students/Research scholars/fellows with an ambition to pursue teaching/research as a career are also welcome.

Interested candidates are requested to register themselves on or before June 16, 2013. The selection of participants will be confirmed through e-mail by the programme coordinators within seven days of the receipt of their applications.
Registration fee Rs. 200/- can be sent in form of demand draft generated by any nationalized bank in favour of “Director, MNNIT Allahabad” payable at Allahabad.
