Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (KPGCET) 2012 is conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for students seeking admission to full time or part time Master of Engineering (M.E.), Master of Technology (M.Tech.), Master of Architecture (M.Arch.), Masters in Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) courses in professional educational institutions in Karnataka for the academic session 2012 – 2013.
Exam Pattern of KPGCET 2012
KPGCET 2012 is an objective type test conducted in two sections of 100 marks each. Each session is of 150 minutes. All questions are compulsory but there is no negative marking in KPGCET 2012.
The two sections of KPGCET 2012 are:
- Section A consists of 75 multiple choice questions for admission to M.Tech. Mathematics and Computer Science. There are 50 questions of 1 mark each and 25 questions of 2 mark each.
- Section B consists of 75 multiple choice questions for admission to M.E., M.Tech., M.Arch. or MBA. There are 50 questions of 1 mark each and 25 questions of 2 mark each.
