KIIT’s National Seminar on LED & Energy Efficiency in Commercial Building

A National Seminar on LED & Energy Efficiency in Commercial Building is being organized by School of Electrical Engineering in collaboration with The Indian Society of Lighting Engineers (ISLE), State Centre, Bhubaneswar and Kolkata.

The Seminar cum exhibition is being organised for two days, i.e. on October 14th and 15^th, 2014 in the Campus-7 Auditorium of KIIT.

The seminar aims to bring together researchers, practitioners working in the field of power system, Energy system, control system as well as other related areas in order to promote the growth of engineering research and to foster the transfer of technology.

Schedule of the Seminar

Day 1 (October 14, 2014)

The seminar will start at 10:30 AM with the registration. The registration fee for new members is Rs 50 per year. The registration will be followed by a discussion on the basics of electrical and lighting engineering which will end with the lunch break at 2:00 PM. The lunch break would continue till 5:00 PM, followed by a discussion on basics of LED and Electronics.

Day 2 (October 15, 2014)

The seminar would start at with a three hour discussion on energy efficient green buildings scheduled for 10:00 AM, followed by a one hour lunch break at 1:00 PM. The seminar would end by a session on lighting code which would start at 2:00 PM and end around 5:00 PM.
