The online application forms for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2022 have been released by its conducting body, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The KCET 2022 exam has been scheduled to be conducted on May 2nd and 3rd, 2022. The last date for registration has been extended to March 8th, 2022 and the deadline for paying the fee has been extended to March 10th, 2022.
Applicants who are looking forward to seek admission in the undergraduate Engineering, Medical, Technology, Science, Farm Science courses need to apply for the entrance exam before March 8th, 2022.

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2022 will be organized at 53 locations in Karnataka.
KCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
- Engineering & Technology – 12th passed with min. 45% marks in PCM (40% for reserved categories).
- Medical/Dental/Other – 12th passed with min. 50% marks in PCB with English (40% for reserved categories).
- Architecture – 12th passed with min. 50% marks with Mathematics (45% for reserved categories).
- B.Sc (Forestry & Agri.) & B.HSc – 12th passed with PCB.
- B.Tech (Agri.) – 12th passed with PCM.
- B.Pharma – Must have 45% marks in PCM or PCB or D.Pharma (40% for reserved categories).
- B.Tech (Fisheries, Dairy, Food Tech.) – 12th passed with PCMB.

How to Apply for KCET 2022
There is no offline mode available for KCET application and the examination authority will start making KCET application forms available on the official portal from 27th January 2022.

- Attach the scanned copies of required documents
- Pay KCET application fees via e-challan
- Submit the KCET application forms along with the enclosures
- Keep a copy for future references
Candidates are recommended to file their KCET application before the last date of application of KCET 2022, which is 8th March 2022.
KCET Application Fees
Students should keep in mind while applying for KCET that every general/OBC category applicant will be charged with Rs. 650 as KCET application fees, whereas for SC/ST candidates charges will be Rs. 500. The last date for paying the application fees is 10th March, 2022.
Also, this application fees is non-refundable.
KCET 2022 Admit Card
KEA will release the KCET 2022 admit cards on the official website in the month of April 2022. Applicants can follow the below mentioned steps to download KCET admit cards 2022.

Applicants should check the details on the admit cards as soon they download it and in case of any grievance candidates are recommended to contact the examination authority immediately.
KCET Exam Pattern 2022
KCET 2022 examination will be conducted on 2nd, 3rd and 4th May, 2022.
KCET is a written examination conducted at various centres around the country to test candidates’ engineering knowledge.
KCET 2022 will be an objective type question paper consisting of three sections and 60 questions per section. Applicants will be allotted 4 hours to attempt 230 questions.
Students are also recommended to practice KCET previous year question papers for thorough preparations.
KCET Results 2022
KEA will announce KCET 2022 results in last week of May, 2022 once the Karnataka University engineering entrance test will be conducted in May 2022.
Applicants are required to check the official website of KEA to view KCET 2022 results by entering their registered roll no.
Also, HTcampus advises students to take a print of the KCET 2022 result for future references.
KCET 2022 Counselling Process
KEA generally holds KCET counselling process a week after KCET results and in 2022 KEA is expected to conduct KCET 2022 counselling in the second half of June, 2022.
Also, keep a note that only KCET qualified students will be allowed to take part in KCET counselling along with the valid KCET scores.
KEA will call qualified candidates for KCET counselling according to the merit.
Students will be able to book a seat in their choice of institute (affiliated by Karnataka University) and in their choice of course, but only on the basis of KCET merit.
Aspirants are recommended to take along all the required documents mentioned in the KCET 2022 prospectus for verification and make the admission procedure successful.
Candidates are also required to pay the Karnataka University admission fees at the time of seat allotment.
