Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2012 is conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for students seeking admission to Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy & Yoga, Engineering, Technology and Architecture courses in professional educational institutions in Karnataka for the academic session 2012 – 2013.
Exam Pattern for KCET 2012
KCET 2012 is a 240 multiple choice questions test related to following subjects:
- Mathematics (60 questions)
- Biology (60 questions)
- Physics (60 questions)
- Chemistry (60 questions)
You have to choose from Mathematics or Biology. If you are aspiring for admission to Engineering or Architecture, you should give Mathematics test and if you are aspiring for Medical courses, you should appear for Biology test. Physics and Chemistry test is compulsory for all.
You also have to give Kannada Language Test.
There is no negative marking in KCET 2012.
