The counseling will begin from July 12, 2014, and will end on July 20, 2014.

PGCET 2014 was taken by 17,906 candidates on June 30 in 11 locations around Karnataka.

The highest number of test-takers belonged to Bangalore while the lowest number of candidates registered from Tumkur.

Out of 17,906, a total of 12,575 candidates took Masters in Business Administration (MBA) exam.

For Master of Computer Applications (MCA) test, there were 5,331 candidates.

Only 3,600 candidates registered for Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) last year. This year, the exam witnessed a rise of 14,306 aspirants.

The Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) is for admission to MBA and MCA courses for government and private quota seats across the state of Karnataka.
