The First Round of Seat Allotment of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2022 has been announced on the official website of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) on June 30, 2022.
How to View JEE Mains 2022 Seat Allotment
- Applicants need to visit the website http://josaa.nic.in/webinfo/Public/home.aspx
- Click on the ‘Seat Allotment Result Round 1’ tab on the home page
- After submitting details like Roll No., candidates will be able to view seat allotment page
Note: Candidates are required to download and take a print out of the JEE Main 2022 Seat Allotment Letter for reference at the reporting centre.
In total, there will be four rounds of JEE Mains 2022 seat allocation for students seeking admission in undergraduate engineering courses at NITs, IITs and CFTIs for academic session 2022-17.
Admission Process
JEE Main 2022 seat acceptance session for the first round of seat allotment will be conducted from July 1 to July 5, 2022.
Procedure to accept JoSAA First Round Seat Allotment 2022 for JEE Mains:
- Candidate need to pay seat acceptance fee through e-challan or net banking option through SBI
- Download Seat Allotment Letter
- Report to the respective reporting centre (RC) with the required documents
Document Required for JEE Main Seat Acceptance:
- Two passport size photographs
- Class XII performance
- JoSSA 2022 Provisional seat allotment letter
- Undertaking by the candidate
- Proof of seat acceptance fee payment by e-challan or internet banking of SBI
- Photo identity
- Original admit card of JEE (Advanced) 2022
- Date of birth proof
- Class XII (or equivalent) board marks sheet.
- Medical certificate
- Category certificate (OBC-NCL/SC/ST
- Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PwD)
- Passport (for foreign nationals) or OCI certificate or PIO card
- DS Certificate
- Registration-cum-locked choices for JoSAA 2022 seat allotment
Note: Students who appeared in JEE Main 2022 are also eligible to register for seat allocation in NITs, and candidates who qualified in JEE (Advanced) 2022 are eligible to register for seat allocation in all participating Institutes.
