J&K BPEE CET 2012 to be Conducted on 23 & 24 June 2012

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (J&K BPEE) is inviting applications for admission to various professional courses (MBBS / BDS /BAMS / BUMS Physiotherapy / B.V.Sc. / B.Sc. Agricultural Courses / SKIMS Courses / BE / B.Tech and other professional courses in Government and Private Professional Institutions of the State.

The entrance exam for the same- the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations Common Entrance Test (J&K BPEE CET 2012) will be conducted on 23 June and 24 June 2012.

Important dates for J&K BPEE CET 2012

• Submission of online application form: 9th to 22nd May 2012
• Receipt of J&K BPEE CET 2012 application form: 21st – 28th May 2012
• J&K BPEE CET 2012: 23rd & 24th June 2012

Eligibility Criteria for J&K BPEE CET 2012

The candidates applying for (J&K BPEE CET 2012) Common Entrance Test-2012 must fulfil the following eligibility conditions:-

1. Must be permanent resident of J&K State as defined in Section 6 of the constitution of J&K.

2. Passed Higher Secondary Part-II (12th/10+2 class) or an equivalent examination from a recognized statutory Board with 50% marks in case of general category candidates and 40% in case of reserved category candidates. In event if result of the J & K Board of School Education (Jammu Wing) is not declared before submission, the candidates who have appeared in 10+2 Board annual examination 2011-2012 (Regular) can also apply and submit application form, keeping columns for marks and percentage blank but Admit card will be issued only after the submission of photocopy of marks sheet to establish their eligibility in 10+2 examination for Entrance Test.

3. Passed 10+2 examination:
a) With English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as elective subjects in case of admission to MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. BAMS,BUMS, Physiotherapy, B.Sc. Agri.B.Sc. Sericulture, B.Sc. Horticulture, B.Sc.Forestry, B.F.Sc., B.Sc.Nursing (For female candidates only), B.Sc. Radiation, B.Sc. Operation Theatre Tech., B.Sc. Medical Lab. Technology and Diploma in Dental hygiene.
b) With English, Physics, Chemistry and Math as their elective subject in case of admission to Bachelor of Engineering Courses and B.Tech. Agri. Engineering.

Age Limit

Candidate must be 17 years old on or before 31 December 2012 for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS and Diploma in Dental hygiene courses.

Application Procedure for J&K BPEE CET 2012

Application Forms can be obtained from designated branches of J&K Bank against payment of Rs.1000/- (Rs. One thousand only).
The Application Forms can also be obtained from two offices of the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations Baghat-iBarzulla opposite J&K Bank, Baghat-i-Barzulla, Srinagar and 4th floor South Block, Bahu Plaza, Jammu on all working days against a Bank Draft of Rs.1000/- (Rs. One thousand only) favouring FA/CAO The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations, payable at RCC Srinagar/Jammu.

Candidates submitting application online must deposit/send confirmation page (generated through computer) along with photographs, photocopies of required certificates and bank draft to BOPEE office positively, before the expiry of the last date i.e., 28-05-2012 failing which, their Application Form shall not be processed. Confirmation Page can also be submitted through Registered Post/ Speed Post to The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations office at Jammu/ Srinagar. Confirmation Page sent through courier will not be accepted.

Candidates who do not deposit their Application Form on due date and time, shall have to pay a late fee of Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundreds only) through non-refundable bank draft drawn in favour of the FA/CAO, BOPEE payable at Jammu/ Srinagar on 29th & 30th May 2012, thereafter no Application Form will be accepted.

The Application Forms can also be submitted through Registered Post/ Speed Post to The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations office at Jammu/ Srinagar. Application Form sent through courier will not be accepted. Application Forms, whether delivered personally or through post shall not be entertained after the expiry of the last date prescribed for receipt of the Application Form.
