JIPMER Puducherry Opens Admissions for MS/ MD 2017 Aspirants

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) Puducherry has invited applications for admissions to the courses of Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) for the academic year commencing on January 2, 2022. Interested candidates can apply for the course online before the last date on October 26, 2022 at 5pm.

The entrance examination for admission to MD/MS 2022 course offered by JIPMER will be conducted on December 11, 2022. The examination will be of 3 hours duration and will be conducted in 17 cities.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates aspiring for admission to MS/ MD 2022 course in JIPMER should suffice the following eligibility criteria.

• MBBS degree or equivalent from any MCI approved University or Institute.
• Should be registered with a Central or State Medical Registration Council.
• Should have undertaken one-year rotary internship training as of December 31, 2022.

Application Procedure:

The online registrations for admission to MS/ MD 2022 course are in progress. Aspiring candidates can apply for the course by filling-in the application forms online on the official web portal of JIPMER.

Steps to fill JIPMER Application Form:

• Log on to ‘http://jipmer.edu.in/category/announcements/exams/’
• Click on ‘JIPMER MD/MS Admissions – January 2022 Session’
• Click on ‘Apply Online for JIPMER MD/MS – January 2022 Session’
• Enter the required details.
• Upload scanned copies of signature and your photographs
• Click on ‘Submit’

Application procedure will be considered complete only after the filled-in application form is submitted and the fee is paid. An application fee of INR 1200 has to be paid by OBC/ UR/ Foreign/ Sponsored candidates while SC/ST candidates have to pay INR 800. Candidates belonging to OPH category are exempted from paying the application fee.

Application fee can be paid online using debit cards, credit cards and net banking. Transaction charges will have to be paid in addition to the application fee.
