JEST 2017 Important Dates Announced

The Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) is an admission test conducting every for candidates seeking admission in MSc/Integrated, MSc/Integrated MTech, PhD,  Integrated PhD Programme in Physics or Theoretical Computer Science or Neuroscience or Computational Biology course offered in any JEST score accepting colleges all over the country.

Notably, the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), which is a statutory body established through an Act of Parliament, recognizes JEST as a National Eligibility Test (NET). Fellows working in SERB programmes and qualified in NET are eligible to get enhanced fellowship.

Aspirants are recommended to check JEST eligibility criteria to ensure a  successful application process. Candidates must also ensure that their qualifications match the admission criteria of colleges where they wish to take admission.
