JEE (Main) 2014: Counseling Session Begins on 1st July, 2014

The counseling session for JEE (Main) 2014 is scheduled to begin from July 1, 2014.

There will be four rounds of seat allotment in the counseling phase unlike last year where there were only three rounds.

After that, a spot admission round will be held.

The marks scored in JEE (Mains) is used by candidates for admission to undergraduate engineering courses offered by NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded technical institutions (CFTIs) in India.

The Join Entrance Examination – Main 2014 was conducted on April 6 (Paper Based) and April 9, April 11, April 12 and April 19 (Computer Based). The results for the same were announced on May 3, 2014.

Around 13 lakh candidates appeared for JEE Mains and 1.54 lakh students qualified for JEE (Advanced) 2014.

Meanwhile, the results of JEE (Advanced) 2014 is scheduled to be released on 19th June, 2014.
