JEE (Main) 2014: All India Ranks to be Released Today

The much-awaited final All-India Ranking for JEE (Main) is likely to be released today, 7th July, 2014.

Around 10 lakh engineering aspirants appeared for the exam and are waiting for their all India rankings.

The JEE (Main) ranks will be used by central institutes (NITs and IIITs) and other prestigious ones across India. The JEE (Main) final All India Rank 2014 will be based on a combination of JEE mains scores (worth 60% weightage) and Class 12 results (for 40% weightage).

JEE (Main) scores are already out. Seven students from the city scored more than 300 marks in JEE (Main), the result of which was declared last month.

Hardik Verma topped the list with 345 out of 360 marks, the best score the city has seen so far, followed by Gurkirat Singh Bajwa and Aryan Garg, who secured the second and third spots, respectively.

The candidates can check their all India ranking by selecting their education board, entering their application number, JEE (Main) roll number and date of birth. In case of any discrepancy, candidates will be required to upload their official marksheet.

Recently, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which conducted the national level test for engineering, extended the deadline for Class 12 marks confirmation from June 27 to 30.
