Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) is a popular exam that JCECEB conducts for enrolling students into a wide range of undergraduate courses. By cracking JCECE 2022 state level exam, students can find their way to government, private and institutions of Engineering, Medical, Agriculture and Animal Husbandry in Jharkhand.
The online registration for JCECE 2022 started on April 16, 2022 and will remain open until June 2, 2022 through online mode. Candidates who have passed 10+2 with physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics can take the test. A minimum of 45 percent marks is mandatory for students of general category candidates while the reserved category candidates, as per the norms, get relaxation and can apply with 40 percent aggregate marks in 10+2.
JCECE 2022 Important Dates
Even when JCECEB has not specified any age limit for appearing in the test, yet the age limit for taking admission in courses like forestry, agriculture and medical is 17 years. JCECE 2022 Exam Pattern
There will be two papers for JCECE 2022: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will be conducted in offline and online modes – the online mode is named as Computer Based Examination, whereas the Offline Mode is termed as pen and paper based examination. The applicant has the freedom to opt for whichever mode s/he wants to undertake. However, the paper 2 will be a pen and paper based test.
Candidates cracking Paper 1, including Physics, Chemistry and Maths, will be able to get admissions into BE or B.Tech courses, whereas candidates qualifying Paper 2 will be able to get admissions into B.Arch. or B.Planning. Paper 2 consists of Maths, Drawing and Aptitude test. Questions asked in JCECE 2022 will be objective type whereas questions for the drawing test can be of drawing aptitude types.
