Amity University, Noida graced with the presence of a Japanese delegation led by Prof. Koichi Maekawa, Director, Bio-electronics Research Center from Toyo University, one of the renowned Japanese Universities.
The visit seeks potential areas of mutual collaboration in various academic programmes.
During the visit, various associative options were propounded including the joint supervision of PhD programmes, establishment of joint Centre of Excellence for Bio-Nano Electronic Research, conducting an International Conference in AmityUniversity, articulation of various academic programmes and encouraging student& faculty exchange programmes.
In his welcome address, Dr. W. Selvamurthy, President, Amity Science Technology and Innovation Foundation highlighted the flawless achievements of Amity University. He further briefed them about the historical background of the University, its academic programmes, facilities achievements, patents filed by researchers and scientists and accreditations of the University.
The delegation took a round of the campus and visited the labs of Amity Institute of Microbial Technology, Amity Institute of Advanced Research & studies, Amity Institute of Nano Technology, Amity Institute of Bio Technology, and Incubator.
