Intensive Workshop on PLC & SCADA Programming at Sathyabama University

Department of Electronics and Control Engineering, Sathyabama University in association with ISA Sathyabama Student Section will organize a two day intensive workshop on January 29-30, 2014. Workshop will be on the topic Real Time PLC & SCADA Programming.

The major aim of the work shop is to provide hands on training on real time PLC and SCADA. The workshop is intended to enrich the students and faculty members with the knowledge of PLC and SCADA designing.

Both relay logic & ladder logic in PLC programming will be dealt. Interfacing of PLC with other PLC s and PID based PLC will also be handled. Practical sessions will be provided to get a better understanding of PLC programming.

Topics to be covered in the workshop:

• PLC Introduction, History & Advantages

• Relay Logic & PLC Ladder Logic

• PLC I/O Details and Blocks

• Programming in Keyence and Allen Bradley

• Interfacing with AB PLC

• SCADA Introduction, Screen Design

• PLC Interfacing with PLC

• PID based PLC

• Last date for registration: January 20, 2014

Interested candidate can register on payment of Rs. 500/- on or before the due date. The payment should be made by cash or D.D drawn in favour of The Registrar, Sathyabama University & it should accompany the registration form in the enclosed format.
