Integral University to conduct workshop on Ethical Hacking

Department of Computer Application of Integral University will organize a workshop on Ethical Hacking. Workshop will be on September 21-22.

Ethical hacking and an ethical hacker are terms that describe hacking performed to help a company or individual identify potential threats on the computer or network.

An ethical hacker attempts to hack their way past the system security, finding any weak points in the security that could be exploited by other hackers. For example, a bank may pay a hacker to hack their systems to see if it is hackable. If he gets in, then they know there is potential for other people to hack in, and usually they will work with this ethical hacker to patch these holes. If he doesn't get in, then they pray that nobody is better at hacking than him.

The organization uses what the ethical hacker finds to improve the system security, in an effort to minimize, if not eliminate any potential hacker attacks.
