Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIIT-Delhi): B.Tech in CSE & ECE 2012: Admission Notification

Starting from 2012, Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) is offering B.Tech. programs in both CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) and ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering). IIIT-Delhi will also be conducting an entrance exam for the same on 17th June 2012.
 

• B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) covers computing science and its applications.
• B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) covers computing systems and science and engineering of communication technologies.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech in CSE& ECE from IIIT Delhi

• 80% or more marks in the aggregate and 80% or more in Mathematics in class XII from CBSE/ICSE/IB board or equivalent.
• If a board has more then five subjects for aggregate, then best five will be taken.
• Additional criteria for admission in ECE program: Physics in Class XII.
• If the result of 10+2 is not declared by the respective board, then the student can sit for exam, but at the time of counselling he/she has to produce the certificate of class 10+2 result fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

Application Procedure for B.Tech 2012 from IIIT Delhi

• Make sure you are eligible as per details given.
   
• Challan form can be downloaded for Delhi students here and for Outside Delhi students here.
   
• Take the print out of the challan form and fill it. Challan form has three copies:
  1.To be attached with the form
  2.Candidates copy
  3.Will be retained by the bank
   
• Deposit the fee through the challan form at the cash counter in any of the branches of HDFC bank. Receipt of admission fee in HDFC Bank will commence on 25th May, 2012 and will close on 10th June, 2012 (For Outside Delhi Date will be extended suitably on declaration of AIEEE results).
   
• Challan number will be given by the cashier on deposit of fees. You cannot fill up the application form without this number.
   
• Fill up the online application form for B.Tech 2012 from IIT Delhi. click here.
   
• Take a print out of the form.
   
• Send the print-out along with the institute challan copy at the address mentioned in admission brochure. Last date of receipt of the print-out is 10th June, 2012.
