Indian Navy Permanent Commission NAI Entry Scheme 2017: Apply Now!

The Indian Navy is inviting deserving candidates to apply for the recruitment of Indian Navy in Naval Armament Inspection (NAI) Entry Scheme (Permanent Commission) course that will commence from June 2022 at the Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala, Kerala. All the interested and eligible candidates can start applying online until December 9, 2022 on the official website.

Indian Navy NAI Entry Scheme 2022 Eligibility Criteria

All the interested candidates wishing to apply for the same are required to meet the following eligibility criteria-

1. Candidates should have completed graduation (B.E./B.Tech) or are in the final year of engineering in any one stream including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, production, IT, chemical, metallurgy, electronics, aerospace engineering with at least minimum 60 percent aggregate marks.
2. Candidates should have completed engineering (or final year) from a recognized university or institute.
3. Candidates should be unmarried/single to apply for this post.

Indian Navy NAI Entry Scheme 2022 Selection Process

Candidates will be selected in two stages. The stage I will comprise of a written test that will include intelligence test, picture perception and discussion test, followed by Stage II that will comprise of psychological testing, group testing, personal interview and finally medical examination.

How to Apply for Indian Navy NAI Entry Scheme 2022?

Given below is a step-by-step guide to apply for Indian Navy NAI Entry Scheme 2022-

• Eligible candidates are required to apply online through the given website, http://www.joinindiannavy.gov.in/.
• Once the application form has been filled and submitted, you will be required to take two printouts of the form, one copy of duly signed application form, attested photocopies of class 10th and 12th certificates along with the marksheets, self-attested photograph, other education certificates and marksheets of graduation.
• Put together all these documents and send it to Post Box no. 02, Sarojini Nagar PO, New Delhi-110023.

The Ministry of Defense reserves the rights to shortlist applications.

All the qualified candidates will then receive call letters on their registered email IDs for Service Selection Board (SSB) interviews on the basis of their performance in the written test. The SSB interviews for the shortlisted candidates will be scheduled anywhere between December 2022 to March 2022 at Bangalore, Coimbatore, Visakhapatnam or Bhopal.

Once selected, the officers will have to serve a probation period for at least two years or until completion of their initial training (whichever is later), during which they can be discharged if their performance is unsatisfactory on professional/medical/disciplinary grounds.
