Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) is an autonomous organisation funded by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. It is known as internationally known centre for training and research in mass communication.
IIMC conducts an Entrance Exam for admission to post graduate diploma courses in Journalism (English), Journalism (Hindi), Radio and Television Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations and Journalism (Oriya) in the academic session 2012 - 2013.
Eligibility for IIMC Entrance Exam 2012
- You must be of 21 years of age.
- You should have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- You can apply for the IIMC CET, if you are appearing in final year examination.
Application Procedure for IIMC Entrance Exam 2012
- You can apply for post graduate diploma courses from IIMC by obtaining application form and prospectus in person by submitting a Demand Draft of Rs. 1200/- (Rs. 1100/- for SC/ST/OBC/PH category) drawn in favour of Registrar IIMC payable at New Delhi or Dhenkanal branch (Orissa).
- You can also apply for post graduate diploma courses from IIMC by sending a request through post along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 1200/- (Rs. 1100/- for SC/ST/OBC/PH category) drawn in favour of Registrar IIMC payable at New Delhi or Dhenkanal branch (Orissa) and a self-addressed stamped (Rs. 70) envelope (27x17 cm).
- You can also apply for post graduate diploma courses from IIMC online by downloading form from official website of Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) (http://www.iimc.nic.in).
- You can send the print out of your duly filled IIMC application form along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 1200/- (Rs. 1100/- for SC/ST/OBC/PH category) drawn in favour of Registrar IIMC payable at New Delhi to:

- You can fill one application form to apply for Post-graduate Diploma Course in Journalism (English) and Post-graduate Diploma Course in Journalism (Hindi).
- You can fill one application form to apply for Post-graduate Diploma Course in Radio & Television Journalism, Post-graduate Diploma Course in Advertising and Public Relations and Post-graduate Diploma Course in Journalism (Oriya).
