Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT)

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is an autonomous organisation to help professionalise India's foreign trade management and increase exports by developing human resources, generating, analysing and disseminating data and conducting research. This prestigious institute was set up in 1963 by the Government of India and offers diverse long term programmes catering to the requirements of aspiring International Business executives and mid-career professionals.

IIFT has tied up with international organisations like WTO, World Bank, UNCTAD, Ministry of Commerce and Industry and has trained over 40,000 business professionals across 30 countries in various facets of international business and trade policy via its Management Development Programmes.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university. Students appearing for their 3rd year exams may also apply.
• No age limit

Reservation

Seats are reserved as per Government rules and are available on basis of merit.

Admission procedure

The selection procedure will be on the basis of three phases - Written Test, Group Discussion, Essay Writing and Interview. Based on the marks of the Written Test, a limited number of candidates will be invited for second phase of selection process comprising Group Discussion, Essay Writing and Interview to be held at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai.
