Indian Army’s Soldier Recruitment starts in October

The 110 Infantry Battalion, Madras, will conduct the recruitment for the soldier category under Territorial Army from October 19. The recruitment rally will take place at PRS Grounds, Coimbatore at 6 AM, from October 19 to 23, 2022.

Candidates belonging to Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and the Union Territories of Goa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Puducherry and Lakshadweep are eligible to appear in this recruitment rally. They must be class 10 pass with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks for the Soldier general duty. The candidate should be between the age of 18 and 42 years.

The physical test shall be conducted on October 19, and the medical test and personal interviews will be conducted at a later date. These tests will be held for candidates who qualify the physical test.

According to the official notification, candidates who are self-employed or work in the civil, outstanding sportsmen, ex-NCC cadets, dependents of servicemen or ex-servicemen, Wood art workers, LMV/HMV license holders, Musicians, Artist, Mason, Chef and Painters will be given preference. Those working for civil organisations will have to provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employers.

Aspirants who wish to appear for the recruitment rally must be present at the ground in the sports attire along with original education certificates, Aadhar card, PAN card, Ration card and six passport size photographs.
