About the Course (Technical Graduate Course (115th)
Applications are invited from engineering Graduates (Married/Unmarried males) including temporary Central/State Govt. servants, serving personnel of the regular Army and Territorial Army (including officers of Territorial Army) and serving personnel of Navy and Air Force for grant of permanent commission in the Indian Army.
This course is one of the best way to get an Indian Army job, especially an Indian Army engineering job.

Eligibility Criteria for 115th Technical Graduate Course
Age Limit
(i) For Engineering Graduates -20 to 27 yrs (Born between 2nd Jul 1985 to 1st Jul 1992)
(ii) For AEC - 23 to 27 yrs (Born between 2nd Jul 1985 to 1st Jul 1989)
(iii) For Military Farms — 20 to 27 yrs (Born between 2nd Jul 1985 to 1st Jul 1992)
Educational Qualification
(i) For Engineers: You should either be studying in your final year of engineering or you should be a qualified engineering graduate to be eligible to apply. If you are a qualified engineering graduate then you must possess an engineering degree at the time of joining the training. If you’re studying in the final year & not in possession of your degree certificate then you should be able to produce the degree certificate within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of your training at IMA. Such candidates will be inducted for training at IMA on Additional Bond Basis for recovery of the cost of training as notified from time to time as well as stipend and pay & allowances paid, in case they fail to produce the requisite degree certificate.
(ii) For Army Education Corps: You should have an M.A / M.Sc Degree in 1st or 2nd divisionfrom a university recognized by AIU in English/ Economics / History / Music /Geography / Political Science / Physics & Math.
(iii) For Military Farm: A degree in dairying or a degree in Agriculture from a recognized university with dairying as one of the subjects or an equivalent foreign qualification in Agriculture (Preference will be given to those who hold M.Sc degree or have carried out research in Dairying of Fodder Crops).
Nationality
A candidate must either be
(i) a citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) Tibetan origin but of Indian domicile, whose parents entered India as refugees prior to 1st January 1962 with intention of permanently settling in India.
(v) a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and East African countries like Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambi, Malawai, Zaire, Ethopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. Certificate of eligibility will however not be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha subject of Nepal.
Note: Candidates withdrawn from IMA/OTA/Naval Academy/Air Force Academy on disciplinary grounds are not eligible to apply.
Physical Standards
(i) Height & Weight: The minimum acceptable height and weight for men is 157.5 cms with correlated weight. In case of candidates belonging to the North East and hilly areas like Gorkhas, Nepalese, Assamese and Garhwalis, the height will be relaxed by 5 cms and weight commensurate with reduced height. In case of candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum acceptable height can be reduced by 2cms.
(ii) Visual Standards: The minimum acceptable visual acuity are: Distant vision (corrected) better eye 6/6, worse 6/18, Myopia of not more than minus 3.5 including Astigmation. Candidates who have undergone or have evidence for having undergone Radial Karatotomy to improve the visual acuity will be permanently rejected. Candidates who have undergone Lasik Surgery for Correction of reflective error are NOT acceptable.
(iii) To be passed fit, a candidate must be in good physical and mental health free from any disability likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duty.

After submitting the form and acknowledgement of successful submission, generated roll number and the buttons of print and save the application will appear. It is advisable to first save the online application and then take a print out.
After submitting online application, candidates are required to obtain two copies of the application print out.
1.1st copy of the print out application duly signed and affixed photograph attested by Gazzetted Officer there on and attested copies of:
- 10th Class Certificate
- 12th Class certificate
- Degree/Provisional Degree of B.E / B.Tech or Mark-sheets of eight semesters of B. E/B.Tech
are to be forwarded to

Section, West Block—lll, RK. Puram, New Delhi-110066".
The last date of receipt of such printouts of online applications is 10th Jan 2012
While forwarding your application, please write: "Online application for TGC - 115 & Roll No _____” boldly outside the envelope.
2.You should carry the 2nd copy of the printout of online application form along with all the above certificates in original & two attested photocopies of these certificates to the selection centre . The originals will be returned to you after verification by the selection centres.
Note: You must submit only one application. Receipt of multiple applications from the same candidate will result in cancellation of candidature.
