Cyclothon, a social initiative by IMT Ghaziabad is a cycling based event where hundreds of cycling enthusiasts come together to spread awareness about various issues plaguing our society. The introductory Cyclothon’13 was aimed to awaken and sensitize the youth about the burning issue of ‘Women Empowerment’, with the theme ‘Ride for Passion, Ride for the Honor of Women’. The overwhelming success of Cyclothon’13 has given way to a bigger and more challenging cycling event this year, where they are making an attempt to combat the various lifestyle diseases plaguing the society. Ranging from obesity to heart diseases to diabetes, people in every age group are struggling with lifestyle related diseases.

- Route Length: ≈15 km
- Stop Over: 45 minutes at Nehru Park - Events such as stimulating talks by eminent personalities in the healthcare field as well as fitness regime workout activities organised by Reebok CrossFit. Refreshments and photography session
IMT is partnering with Delhi Cyclists and hopeful to make this event a landmark in the history of Delhi by promoting this cause with exuberant media coverage from leading TV and Radio channels as well as popular print media. Cyclothon will also host street plays performed by the college students from NCR.
