Important Dates for admission to Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida

Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida has opened admissions across various departments for the academic session of 2013. Admission will be based on candidates merit on JEE (Mains) and overall marks obtained in 10+2. 50% seats in Biotechnology & Bioinformatics for Physics and Mathematics students (through JEE). Remaining 50% will be allotted to students with Biology/Biotechnology and Physics. They can apply directly to JIIt. Candidates can download online application form by visiting www.jiit.ac.in

Eligibility Criteria for B. Tech in JIIT

• Candidate born on or after October 01, 1992
• Candidate should be A pass in 10+2 (2011 onwards) or equivalent or those appearing in 10+2 exam in 2013
• They should have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject except for Biology/Biotechnology based admission.

Important Dates for B. tech in JIIT

• Last date of receipt of JEE based application forms : June 13, 2013
• Last date for application for Biology/Biotechnology based application: June 7, 2013

Initially students had to give an entrance test to get admission into B.Tech programs. But 2005 onwards, admission procedure was changed and admission was granted on basis of AIEEE marks. However, 2013 onwards AIEEE has also been scrapped and now, only JEE exams are taken into consideration.
