IMI Admission 2018 – Apply now for the admission to PGDM 2018-20 batch

IMI Admission 2022- International Management Institute (IMI) has announced the admission to its PGDM 2022-20 batch. There are three campuses of IMI. These campuses are located in New Delhi, Kolkata and Bhubaneswar. Scores of CAT 2022 and GMAT will be accepted by the Institute for the admissions to its management programmes. The application process will be continued till December 4, 2022. IMI will shortlist the candidates who will appear for the CAT 2022 examination or furnish valid GMAT score and have applied to IMI New Delhi, IMI Kolkata and IMI Bhubaneswar.This selection will be done for the final IMI round which will be based on details provided in the application form, CAT scores (sectional and overall) or GMAT score, educational background, marks in 10th, 12th, graduation and work experience. IMI will consider past academic performance (in graduation, class XII & X), Extempore speaking. Essay Writing, Personal Interview and Psychometric Test etc. at the final stage of selection.

IMI Admission 2022 – Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to get the admission in any of the three IIM campuses must meet the eligibility criteria of IMI which is as follows:

• Candidates must hold a bachelor’s or equivalent degree with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline, from a recognized university in India or abroad (recognized by the UGC / Association of Indian Universities.)
• The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years education, after completing higher secondary schooling 10+2 system or equivalent.
• Students of final years of graduation can also apply. They have to furnish the proof of meeting the minimum eligibility criteria by September 30, 2022.
• Candidates who will not fulfill the IMI eligibility norms will be rejected from the programme.
• Candidates must complete all academic requirements before enrolling for the programme.

Note-

• Work experience is not compulsory to apply to IMI .
• Participants for the PGDM programme maybe fresh graduates from any discipline including Engineering, Humanities, Commerce, Economics, Medicine or any other branch of education. However, there will be some other criteria on which the final selection relies such as higher cut-off percentage depending and the total number of applicants for the programme.

IMI Admission 2022 – Application Procedure

• Candidates can download the IMI admission bulletin from the official website of IMI.
• The application process of IMI is completely online and the application form of is available on it’s official website.
• Candidates should complete the online application form and submit it along with the admission application fee, which is non-refundable.
• The last date to apply for IMI, New Delhi, Kolkata and Bhubaneswar is December 4, 2022.
• Candidates will be required their first and second preference of interview center in the application form.

IMI Admission 2022 - Application fee

• Cost of an application form will be Rs.2000/- for an applicant wanting to apply to any one of the two-year Programmes of IMI Delhi. 
• If the applicant wishes to apply for other programmes also then s(he) is required to pay Rs.500/- per programme additionally.
• IMI Delhi does not accept Admission applications off-line.
• The admission fee can be paid through Credit Card/ Debit Card/Bank Transfer through the designated payment gateway.  No receipts are to be sent to IMI’s Admission Office in such a case.

IMI Admission Procedure 2022

• Candidates must take the CAT 2022 exam which is to be conducted on November 26^th 2022. Admission to the programmes offered by IMI, New Delhi will be done through the Common Admission Test 2022. Registration for CAT 2022 will end on September 20, 2022 at 5PM.  IMI will obtain the test scores from the IIM for those candidates who have appeared in the CAT examination and have also applied to IMI for the PGDM programmes. IIMs will not play any role either in the selection procedure or in the conduct of the programme.
• Foreign students, PIO and NRI sponsored candidates can also eligible; on the basis of GMAT scores. It must be noted that they have taken the GMAT test not earlier than January 2022 and not later than 20th January 2022.
• Indian candidates who have appeared for GMAT, in between January 2022 and 20^th January 2022 are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates will have to submit their GMAT scores while applying and provide a self-attested copy of the GMAT score sheet to the Admission Office for verification at the time of personal interview.
• GMAT scores without the above document will not be accepted and the application may be immediately rejected.

IMI Admission 2022 – Selection Criteria

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis information provided in the application form, CAT scores or GMAT score, educational background, marks in 10th, 12th, graduation and work experience, if any.  Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the final round of the IMI selection procedure.

Factors Affecting IMI Selection Procedure 2022

Following components will affect the final stage of the selection process:

• Marks in class XII & X
• Past academic performance in graduation
• Psychometric Test
• Personal Interview  

The IMI Admission Committee can change these constituents while communicating these to the applicants at the Personal Interview stage. The overall objective will be to recognize and evaluate the candidate’s potential for the management career.

Candidates Sponsored by their Organization

• Applications of candidates sponsored by their organizations are also accepted by IMI within the approved strength of the programme.
• To assess these candidates, common IMI selection process will also be taken into consideration.
• Candidates who are sponsored by their organization will not be eligible to receive any help while placement the Institute’s placement cell. 
• The fee structure for such candidates is given separately along with the fee structure for general candidates. 
• On the basis of the entire selection process, candidates will be called for a Personal Interview to evaluate them during February/March 2022 (tentative).

Interviews of IMI Kolkata, IMI New Delhi and IMI Bhubaneswar will be conducted at following centres:

If the preferred centre will not be allotted to the candidate, the candidate will be informed about the change. IMI can change any of the centres for the selection process, without assigning any reasons.

IMI Admission 2022 – Final Result and Admission Offer

Candidates will be offered the admission at IMI Kolkata, IMI Bhubaneswar and IMI New Delhi on the basis of a composite score provided after the completion of entire selection procedure. IMI result will be published on the admission portal of IMI. Offer letters of candidates will be sent to the mail address provided in the application form as well as by email.  Therefore, candidates are suggested to provide their complete postal address and active email ID while filling the IMI application form.

Successful candidates, who have been offered admission, will have to pay the first installment of fee within one week of the date of offer, if they fail to do so, offer shall lapse and admission will be offered to the next candidate on the waiting list, without any further intimation.
