IMC & IEC joined hands to sign a MOU in June

A prestigious “Professional Certificate Course in Shipping Management and Maritime Laws (Duration 6 months) and “Professional Certificate Course in Pharmaceutical Sales Management (Duration 6 months) have been launched recently. Indian Merchants’ Chamber (IMC) and Indian Education Society (IES), Mumbai have joined hands to impart knowledge & skills and have launched these courses.

 

In this regard a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was inked by Mr. Shailesh Vaidya, President, IMC and Mr. Satish Lotlikar, Trustee, IES in the presence of Mr Suresh Kotak, Past President, IMC on June 11, 2014. 

 

Those working in the area of Liners, Agents, NVOCC (Non Vessel Operating Common Carrier), Freight Forwarders, Freight Brokers and Custom-house Agents the Shipping Management course is their perfect solution. On the other hand, the Pharmaceutical Management course will be immensely useful for those working in the Pharmaceutical Industry and also wanting to expand their knowledge and qualifications in the area of Pharmaceutical Sales Management.

 

In his remarks, Mr. Shailesh Vaidya mentioned, “It's for the first time in the history of 107 years of the Indian Merchant's Chamber that we have collaborated with an esteemed educational institution like IES to contribute to the development of skills required by industry. This program was developed to align with the “best of industry applied practice” and we feel this program will be a great option for them to consider.” 

Mr. Satish Lotlikar added, “We are privileged and honored to be associated with the prestigious Indian Merchant's Chamber and look forward to developing and launching many more such courses in the near future which will stand in good stead for the youth and the country”. Mr. Suresh Kotak, said, “It's an opportune time for IMC & IES to come together and take forward the policies of the present Government at Delhi.”
