The Joint Admission Board (JAB) of IIT has approved for IIT JEE Mains to be held on 7th April 2013. The date was decided by other stakeholders that included CBSE, Centrally Funded Institutes and representative of IITs. The exam will be conducted by CBSE with representatives from IIT and other Centrally Funded Institutes. The Advance Joint Entrance Exam will be held on 2nd June 2012 on the new IIT exam format.
