JAM Exam Pattern 2022 - Candidates who aspire to appear for Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. programme should check the exam pattern of JAM 2022 which will help them in preparing for the postgraduate science exam. JAM Exam Pattern 2022 defines the pattern of the question paper including total marks, subjects, duration of the exam and marking scheme for the M.Sc Joint Admission Test. IIT Delhi has notified that the candidates are allowed to appear for maximum of two papers.
The candidates can appear for two exams conducted by IIT Delhi but they should ensure that the exams are scheduled in the same slot. Those candidates appearing for the second paper have to pay the additional application fee in order to give the test. All the seven subjects will be objective type, with three different patterns.

- JAM 2022 is a computer based test conducted in online mode only.
- The duration of the exam will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- IIT JAM 2022 exam carries 100 marks
- There will be 60 questions in total
- The exam is divided into three sections: Section A, B, and C.
- No marks will be deducted for short answer and multiple selective-type questions whereas there will be negative marking for the multiple choice questions.
- JAM2022 will be conducted for a total of seven test papers which are divided into 2 sessions.
