The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) Kerala has released an official notification for inviting invites applications for undergraduate and dual degree programmes. The interested, eligible candidates can read further to know more about the eligibility criteria and admission process.
Eligibility criteria B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering/ Avionics Programme
For admission into 4 years, full time, B.Tech Aerospace Engineering and B. Tech Avionics Programme as well as 5-Year Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.S./M.Tech) programme, candidates must have passed the 12th exam with Maths, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 70 percent marks in aggregate. Aside from this, candidates must have appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)-Main 2022 that Central Board of School Education (CBSE) conducts.

- To apply for the course online, all that a candidate has to do is to follow some easy steps mentioned hereunder.
- The interested candidates can reach out to the official website i.e. www.iist.ac.in
- Once there, click on the ‘Admission’ tab
- Click on the relevant link and enter the details in the prescribed format
- Do cross check the details and finally click on the ‘Submit’ button
- Don’t forget to take the printout of the same for future reference
Interested candidates can submit forms online by June 24, 2022.The counselling dates along with the rank list will be available on June 29, 2022. IIST will fill up 60 seats each for B.tech in Aerospace Engineering and B. Tech Avionics, whereas the institute has 20 seats for the dual degree (B.Tech + M.S./M.Tech) programme.
Out of the total number of seats, 15 percent will be reserved for SC candidates, 4.5 percent for ST, 27 percent for OBC belonging to non-Creamy layer and 3 percent for PwD.
