IISER Pune Ph. D 2022 admissions have commenced, and candidates can start applying online on the official website. The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune has released the official notification according to which the candidates can apply for the same until October 30, 2022.
The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D) program at IISER will be offered in Chemistry, Earth, and Climate Sciences for the academic session January 2022.
Eligibility Criteria:
Ph. D in Chemistry:
- The candidates applying for Ph. D in Chemistry should have acquired a Master’s degree in any branch of Science namely, Physics/Chemistry/MathematicsBbiology or equivalent.
- The candidate should have secured at least 60% aggregate (overall percentage; not only in majoring subject) or CGPA 6 out of 10 point scale (55% or equivalent CGPA in aggregate for SC/ST and PD candidates)
- The candidates who have obtained a degree in B.E/B. Tech/B. Pharm/M.E/M. Tech/M. Pharm are also eligible for the programme.
Ph. D in Earth and Climate:
- Candidate must have obtained a Master’s degree in any branch of Earth/Climate/Science/Physics/Mathematics/ChemistryEengineering (or BS-MS degree).
- Applicant must have secured at least 60% marks in aggregate (overall percentage; not only in majoring subject) or CGPA 6 out of 10 point scale (55% or equivalent CGPA in aggregate for SC/ST and PD candidates).
Application Procedure:
- Only online applications will be accepted.
- The candidates must carefully fill and submit the online application form on or before the specified date.
- After the last date, all applications will be screened and candidates selected for interviews will be intimated by email.
