The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) has launched a new website for announcement of the CAT 2013 results.
This move comes after recommendations by a committee set up by the Union ministry of human resource development after discrepancies were found on the CAT 2012 results website, www.catiim.in, hosted by Lucknow-based Web Weavers Association, which had allegedly inflated scores of more than 80 students.
The IIMs have now launched a website that will display updates on CAT 2013 results.
The CAT 2012 exams were conducted between October 11 and November 6 with IIM Kozhikode (IIM K) as the convener.
The results were declared in January.
The discrepancy came to light after IIM K received a tip-off about the inflation in marks of more than 80 candidates.
The conduct and evaluation of the test was entrusted to a US-based company Prometric and the results were later given to the Lucknow firm to be displayed.
A police case was registered against the company after which the MHRD had set up a committee to recommend the measures necessary to take corrective steps and avoid such problems in the future.
