IIM Kashipur Summer Placement 2015-17

IIM Kashipur summer placement 2015-17 process for students belonging to the Post-Graduate Programme (PGP) was completed recently by the institute.

According to the official report presented by the Indian Institute of Management-Kashipur (IIMK), the highest domestic stipend offered this year increased by a margin of 29%.

The summer placement 2015-17 at IIM Kashipur witnessed 65 top notch companies from domains like Marketing, Strategy, HR, Finance and Operations visiting the college to recruit a batch strength comprising of 123 students.

Highlights of Summer Placement IIT Kashipur:

• Rs. 4.38 lakhs was the highest international stipend offered this year.
• 61% increment was noticed as compared to the previous year.
• An increment of 29% was observed in the highest domestic average stipend raising it to Rs. 1.29 lakhs.
• The average stipend saw an upsurge of 29%, reaching an amount of Rs. 49000 approximately.

Diverse offers from different functional areas were presented to the students of PGP 2015-17 batch at IIM-Kashipur. These included:

Human Resource domain received offers in fields like Industry Relations, Talent Management, Learning and Development and Strategic Performance Management.

Students belonging to the Finance function got various offers in Investment Banking, Agricultural Risk, Agricultural Retail, Micro-Finance, Treasury Operations, Technology Application, Security Exchange, Economic Research & Surveillance and General Finance.

On the other hand, many students from the Operations specialization received proposals in Strategic Supply Chain, Six Sigma Project Implementation, Time Lag Analysis, and Process Optimization and Strategy and Consulting.

Marketing students bagged offers in Strategic Brand Management, Market Research, Advertising, Content Management, Digital Marketing, Inbound Marketing, Retail Marketing, B2B Marketing, B2C Marketing, Marketing Process Enhancement and Business Development.
