Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad is organizing Vigilance Awareness Week start from October 28-November 2, 2013.
Central Vigilance Commission, India has decided to that the Vigilance Awareness Week this year would be observed from October 28-November 2, 2013. This time the theme of observing Vigilance Awareness Week is promoting “Good Governance- Positive contribution of Vigilance”.
Following the same IIIT-A also organizing the Vigilance Awareness Week from October 28, 2013.Event is comprises of many activities relating to vigilance.

Chief vigilance officer Anurika Vaish said several measures have been taken in pursuant to the instruction of the Central Vigilance Commission. She said that competitive and non-competitive activities would be conducted to mark the Vigilance Awareness Week. Various activities are being organized to create awareness about corruption in public life.
A webpage has been created for instilling an environment of transparency & confidence within the system.
