IGNOU, Admission to Certificate Course in Dispensing Optics 2012: Admission Notification

The varsity's Centre for Paramedical Sciences offers the course which aims to educate opticians and impart specific skills in delivering quality and consistent eye care to people, enhancing existing skills for eye care professionals as well as opticians.

"It shall thus create a sustainable resource to provide basic eye care and combat the prevalence of preventable blindness," said a statement by IGNOU.

Eligibility Criteria:

Working optician with matriculation, Optometrist, Ophthalmic
Assistants/technician, Ophthalmologists, Optical Salesman 

Duration of the Course:  6 months

Fee of the Course: Rs.10,000/-

Important Dates: 

Last date for submission of application form is 15^th December, 2011 (without late fees) 30^th December with Rs. 200/- Late Fees
