Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women, New Delhi invites application for admission to Ph. D programme commencing from August, 2015. Only female candidates can apply.
Admission shall be made on the basis of a written Screening Test (Research Aptitude Test, RAT) or an interview or both as decided by the Admission Committee of the university.
Applicant can apply for one of the below categories
- Full Time Research Scholar (Without Fellowship): A person registered for the Ph.D. Degree devoting full time at IGDTUWW for completing the degree requirements
- Part time Research Scholar: A person who is registered for the Ph. D degree and will devote part of his/her time towards their pursuit and devote part of her time towards the discharge of his/her official obligations
- Teaching cum Research Fellow (TRF): A person registered for Ph. D with a Fellowship Grant devoting full time for research and teaching at IGDTUW for completing the degree requirements.
The RAT exam will be conducted in following disciplines:
- Electronics and Communication
- Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Applications
- Mechanical Engineering
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Mathematics
