ITM University conducted two days International Conference on Emerging Trends in Computational and Applied Mathematics (ICCAM) on June 2, 2014.
JNU professor Karmeshu, (Bhatnagar Awardee) graced his presence as key note speaker. The objective of the conference was to bring together practitioners and scientist so that by focusing on the emerging trends in computational and theoretical Mathematics, efforts can be made to narrow down the gaps.
The conference will further help:
- To provide a forum for exchange of ideas and insights by mathematicians, mathematical scientists, and researchers
- To share fresh perspective on problem-solving in current research areas in Mathematical Sciences
- To present various computational and mathematical modelling approaches in the areas of health, education, finance, environment, engineering, commerce and industry
- To promote networking opportunities among experts in various disciplines of Mathematical Sciences
Conference had witnessed over 80 delegates from across the country and abroad. There were delegates from Malaysia and the United States of America and papers had been received from a host of other countries. A total of 105 papers were received out of which 80 papers were being presented at the conference.
