Just like every year, Lacs of students appeared in the HP Board Class 12th Examination conducted by HPBOSE (Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education). This intermediate level school examination is important for every student to get admission into top colleges/institutes/universities for higher education.

This year, the board exams in Himachal Pradesh were marred with controversies and the board had to cancel some exams after that. The physics and Computer Science exams were rescheduled after the question papers were allegedly stolen in Kinnaur district.

How to check the HP Board Class 12th Results 2022:

The result will first be declared on the official website. But you may face technical delay while checking your result online - as Lacs of students will be on the website at the same time to see their result. Previous Year Result Statistics:

In 2015, in the HP Board intermediate examination, a total of 443,216 students participated and about 375,359 were able to qualify the examination. The overall pass percentage was 84.69 percent. Keeping the previous years’ records in mind, the HP Board Class 12th Results 2022 is expected to be better this year, but the individual score will depend on each student’s performance in the exam papers.

About Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education:

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, Dharamshala came into existence in 1969 as per Himachal Pradesh Act No. 14 of 1968 with its head-quarter at Shimla later shifted to Dharamshala in January 1983. The Board started with a staff of 34 officials which has subsequently increased to 438. The Education Board prescribes syllabus, courses of instructions and text books for school education in Himachal Pradesh besides conducting examinations based on courses listed. At present, the Board conducts examination for the following classes and courses: 10th, 10+2, J.B.T and T.T.C. As many as 5 Lakh candidates annually appear in the examination conducted by the Board.
