IBSAT exam pattern consists of multiple choice questions which need to be completed in 2 hours. IBSAT is aimed to test the applicant's ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.
Here’s a break-up of the IBSAT question paper:
Quantitative Techniques: 25 questions
Data Interpretation and Data Adequacy: 25 questions
English: 50 questions
Reading Comprehension: 25 questions
The IBSAT written exam is followed by a 30 minute general essay round and another general awareness test 30 minutes. There is a total of 25% weightage given to the IBSAT exam in the admission process.

As is with other entrance exams, you need to plan your study schedule well ahead in time and follow it as well. Give time to all the subjects equally.
