IBSAT exam pattern consists of multiple choice questions which need to be completed in 2 hours. IBSAT is aimed to test the applicant's ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension. Here’s a break-up of the IBSAT question paper:
- Quantitative Techniques: 25 questions
- Data Interpretation and Data Adequacy: 25 questions
- English: 50 questions
- Reading Comprehension: 25 questions
The IBSAT written exam is followed by a 30 minute general essay round and another general awareness test 30 minutes. There is a total of 25% weightage given to the IBSAT exam in the admission process.

How to Prepare for IBSAT Entrance Exam 2012
The IBSAT 2011 MBA exam was held in Dec and the results will be out in January 2012. Students who clear the written IBSAT exam will then be required to appear for the Personal Interview round which is the last leg of the IBSAT MBA aptitude examination.
As is with other entrance exams, you need to plan your study schedule well ahead in time and follow it as well. Give time to all the subjects equally.
