Registration Process – Cash Mode

• Go to the Registration page of XLRI official website
• Login with the XAT ID and Password. Your login will be authenticated only if you have completed the process of XAT registration, after having made the payment either thru Cash Mode or Online Mode
• Select the mode of payment as “Bank Pay-in-Slip” and the course(s) you want to apply, make your choice for the Interview City and click on “Save & Continue”
• Download the XLRI Pay-in-Slip. Make payment at any Axis Bank branch by tendering the appropriate amount
• Log on to the XLRI.edu website again and enter the Transaction No. and other details provided by the bank on the Pay-in-Slip to validate your application. XLRI ID is generated for further processing
• Take a print of the XLRI Registration Page - Cash Mode. Affix the XLRI’s copy of Pay-in-Slip. Send the Page complete in all respects to XLRI Office, Jamshedpur along with the photocopies of 10th, 12th, graduation certificates (or latest mark sheet of papers/years completed till date) and SC/ST certificate (for SC/ST candidates only) within seven days .

What is XAT ?

XAT is an annual entrance exam conducted by the Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur to select the most appropriate students for its management courses. Every year a large number of management aspirants take the XAT to get admission in to XLRI or other good institutes where XAT scores are considered. It has become the most popular entrance exam for management aspirants after CAT and MAT. It however differs from other management entrance examinations as candidates are also expected to write an essay on a given topic besides the usual objective type questions. The essay is considered only for admission to XLRI, Jamshedpur.
