How to Apply & Eligibility Criteria for NIPER JEE 2012

Eligibility Criteria for NIPER 2012  PH. D

In order to appear for the NIPER JEE, you need to have a B. Pharmacy/ degree on any if the following:

Medicinal Chemistry

• Natural Products
• Pharmaceutical Analysis
• Pharmaceutics
• Pharm. Tech.
• Pharmacy Practice

Clinical Research

• If you have a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science, then you can also apply for masters in Pharmacology and Toxicology.
• Biological Science is required for specializing in Biotechnology M.Sc.
• To appear for Pharmacy Tech, you can also have a M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry) or B.Tech. in Chemical Engg.
• For Pharm. Tech you need to have B. Pharm. (Biotechnology) and also M.Sc. (Life Sciences).

If you are interested in applying for Pharmacoinformatics, you need to have any of the below qualifications

B.Pharm

• M.Sc. (Organic/Physical Pharmaceutical Chemistry)
• M.Sc./B.Tech. (Bioinformatics)
• M.Sc. (Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Microbiology)

For the following any of the below qualifications are required:

Regulatory Toxicology

• B.Pharm.; B.V.Sc.
• M.Sc.(Pharmacology/ Toxicology/ Life Sciences/Biochemistry/Medical Biotechnology/Zoology)
• M.B.B.S

Traditional Medicine

• B.Pham
• B.A.M.S; M.Sc. (Botany)

Pharmaceutical Management

• B.Pharm.
• B.Tech (Chemical Engg or equivalent)
• M.Sc. (Chemical/Life Sciences)

For each of the above, you should have scored a minimum of 60% or above in the qualifying examination. You should also have passed in GATE or NET. Those who are appearing for their final year exam and those who are waiting for their results can also apply.

Application Procedure for NIPER 2012

You can download the form from the official website of NIPER. Read the form carefully and upload a recent photo and submit it online. Take a print out of the receipt and send it to the specified address with a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1000 to the Registrar’s office. ST/SC/ OBC/ Minority candidates should send a Demand Draft of Rs. 500.
