Homecoming’13: First Alumni Meet at Delhi School of Management

A strong alumni network is essential to take any B-School to higher levels of excellence. Keeping this into view Delhi School of Management (DTU) organized its first alumni meet, Homecoming’13, for the first three batches, on November 1, 2013. This was the first ever alumni meet conducted by the college.

On this very special occasion, College celebrated the spirit and unity through some formal interaction and some informal activities with the alumni. It was a great opportunity for all to gel with their alumni, and share their experiences and concerns as they are also preparing to enter the corporate world very soon.

About DSM:

Delhi School of Management (DSM), India, is the B-School under Delhi Technological University.

The course structure comprises four semesters that are taught over a period of two years. In the first year 18 papers are conducted. Here the students are oriented with the fundamentals of HR, Finance, Marketing, Micro & Macro economics along with the various aspects of business like Corporate Law, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Knowledge Technology, etc.

In second year students get 2 specializations from 6 avenues that are offered with 4 subjects per specializations along with corporate evolution, corporate governance, project management, international business environment & one foreign language.

In the third semester, the specializations offered are:

• Information Technology Management (ITM)

• Supply Chain Management (SCM)

• Knowledge and Technology Management (KTM)

In the fourth semester, the specializations offered are:

• Finance

• HR

• Marketing
