Himachal Pradesh University to conduct entrance test for Ayurveda courses

Himachal Pradesh University has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission in MD/MS courses in Rajiv Gandhi Govt. Post Graduate Ayurvedic College.

Admission will be given on the merit scored in the entrance test conducted by the University on September 8, 2013.

University has set up certain eligibility on the basis of which candidate can apply for the course. Check the below eligibilities to apply

• A candidate should have passed BAMS or its Equivalent degree of 5 ½ years minimum duration from the recognized Institution/ University latest by the date of Counselling.

• Only such regular Ayurvedic Medical Officers in the department of Ayurveda (H.P.) under Group-I will be eligible who have rendered five years service including adhoc service, if any out of which at least three years service in rural areas or two years service in Tribal Areas and should have minimum eight years of service left for superannuation after completion of Postgraduate Degree in Ayurved.

The Last date for submission of Application Forms in the office of Deputy Registrar (Entrance Tests), Room No.10, Ground Floor, Administrative Block, H.P. University, Shimla-171005 is August 14, 2013 up to 5.00 P.M

The prospectus can be obtained at the University Examination Enquiry-cum-Sale Counter No.1, Library Building (Basement) Summer Hill,Shimla-5 from July 15 to August 12, 2013 during working hours on payment of Rs.2000/- only for All Categories.

By Post:

The request for obtaining the prospectus by post must be addressed to the Deputy Registrar (Entrance Tests), Room No.10 (Ground Floor), Administrative Block, H.P. University, Shimla-171005 accompanied by crossed IPOs/ Bank Draft (with Name and Address written on the back side) amounting to Rs.2100 for all categories drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, H.P. University, Shimla-5 latest by July 27, 2013. The candidate must write “Request for MD/MS (Ayurveda) Prospectus-2013” on the envelope containing letter with complete mailing address in CAPITAL LETTERS and telephone/ Mobile number.
